Brianne + Kevin's Fairytale Boho Wedding - Envy Lifestyle and Event Design

Brianne and Kevin’s big day was a true fairytale boho wedding from start to finish. Not only were the wedding party’s wardrobe pieces key features, but the elaborate florals, family mementos and unique table number signs all created the couple’s dream wedding.

This wedding wasn’t only special for the unique features but for the true love that was encapsulated throughout the entire day from family, friends and the handpicked vendor team. We have gathered together some of Brianne + Kevin’s amazing wedding day details to share with you.

Beautiful Boho Florals

One of the most pronounced features of this couple’s fairytale boho wedding was their beautiful boho florals. Florals were placed everywhere at their venue, from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and of course the reception. The ceremony altar had a large floral arrangement that consisted of warm toned roses and a touch of greenery accented. The shining star of these splayed arrangements though was the dramatic dried pampas.

After the ceremony, the wooden arch with the elaborate florals was moved inside the reception area and was placed as a backdrop for the sweetheart table. They used white drapery against the wooden barn doors. This added element created the fairytale boho wedding feel Brianne and Kevin had envisioned.

A bright white neon sign was also added to the arch displaying their last name. Which brings us to another fun and unique twist that the couple did; the groom took the bride’s last name, Durliat. The lead planner on this wedding, Nicole, had not seen this occur yet in her career, so it made this wedding extra special for her

The bride’s bouquet was laid in the center of the sweetheart table as the centerpiece. It matched the floral arrangements on the altar with white and light warm toned roses and beautiful big pampas as the focal point. Brianne’s bouquet was extra special because she included charms with pictures of her mother who passed away when she was a young girl. This little detail was sentimental and allowed for her mother to be right by her side throughout the entire day.

Wedding Wardrobe Wishes

After meeting with Brianne and Kevin for their first planning meeting, we found out how important their wedding day wardrobe was to the both of them. They each had specific wardrobe visions they were excited for in order to bring their fairytale boho wedding to life.

They both love Disney and enjoy frequenting the park as a couple. This love is where their “fairytale” wedding inspiration was derived from. Brianne wore an absolutely stunning princess ball gown to walk down the aisle and marry her ‘prince charming’. The skirt of the dress was a fluffy tulle material with intricate beaded detailing from the deep v-neckline to the top of the a-line waist. To top it all off she wore a beautiful long sheer veil and silver sparkly sandal ‘slipper-esque’ shoes.

Kevin wanted his fairytale wardrobe moment, too. So he had show-stopping custom Louboutins that he showcased throughout the day. He felt so excited to be in these shoes for his wedding day that he had a smile on the whole day. Timeless Tablescapes

The couple’s dream vision included a warm toned, neutral color palette. Their primary accent color was a light terracotta shade. The guests' table scapes incorporated the beautiful boho florals that are discussed in detail above. An off white cheesecloth runner adorned each wooden farmhouse table. Placed atop the runner were tea-light candles, tall pillar candles enclosed by hurricane glass and dried pampas in a multitude of unique stone toned vases.

A unique personal element that was incorporated into the table scapes was the table number signs. Each table was assigned an airport code (for example, MCO, HNL etc.), from places the couple has flown to. Both Kevin and Brianne are flight attendants and travel all around for a living so it felt appropriate to include this special touch to their wedding day.

The finishing details on the tables were beautiful gold chargers with a terracotta shaded napkin laid atop in a knot. Gold cutlery was placed beside the charger as well to tie everything together. These timeless table scapes truly added to the boho feeling of the wedding, while the small personal touches added the fairytale elements.

Glass Slippers Come Off

As dinner ended, speeches concluded, and the lights turned down low Brianne and Kevin’s ‘glass slippers’, AKA their shoes, came off and their dancing feet took over. A big element for them in creating their fairytale boho wedding was to most importantly spend precious time with their closest loved ones.

They made sure there was plenty of time at the end of the night to get on the floor and dance until the venue closed. This is also why they prioritized having a good DJ in their initial planning with us, too in order for the party to stay alive.

They had so much fun and an airline flight crew cart was even taken out onto the dance floor for Brianne and Kevin to dance on. This was a special moment to witness and truly felt magical. You could feel the love the couple had for each other and for all their guests who were enjoying their special day with them.
