Beautiful & Ethereal Wedding Styled Shoot

White Rock Canyon: The Perfect Setting for an Ethereal Wedding

couple pose for ethereal wedding

When asked to plan and design a shoot in Orlando, we knew we wanted to highlight a new wedding venue with a different aesthetic than ones we have worked at before. We immediately thought of a newer venue in town: White Rock Canyon in Bushnell, FL; It provides a blank canvas for us to design and inspire our couples with something different.

Venue: White Rock Canyon Bushnell, FL

White Rock Canyon is an escape outside from the hustle and bustle of the city of Orlando where peace and nature is the focal point. Apart from the natural beauty of the outdoor land where the venue is situated, there are also two large indoor spaces. This is where you can really design the wedding of your dreams. The space includes garage doors that open up to really create an indoor and outdoor feel, blank walls and just overall little decor allow for couples' unique wedding ideas to come to life.

We wanted this styled shoot to not only serve as inspiration but also showcase the great features of this new venue. Some of these features include the high ceilings, white walls, glass paneled garage doors, and the boarded walkway over the quarry. Our inspiration for the shoot derived from many of these features and we curated vignettes to creatively showcase them for an ethereal wedding.

Shoot Inspiration:

Our Vision was to embrace nature throughout the venue. This translated over to the natural connection of our shoot models, Cait + Nick. They were about to get married themselves in just a few months so we knew their true love would be highlighted throughout the scenery. The woodsy backgrounds the venue provided, inspired us to create an ethereal wedding vibe with modern elements. The colors we prioritized were sage, creams, and golds to accent the wooded areas at the venue. Pops of blues and purples were also added in our design details to add dimension and create modern flair.

The vendors were hand selected based on what we felt embodied the same ethereal wedding aesthetic that was trying to be exhibited. They all provided a strong creative team and would be able to provide options that fit the nature of the venue but also add the modernity we desired to achieve.

The Content

For this ethereal wedding styled shoot, we created five vignettes that accentuated those features of the venue. Our first was the Ceremony set up with an altar, designed by Gather & Grace Designs, seamlessly incorporated into the pampas branches and wooded tree area. Our Second Vignette was the beautiful tablescape set up from a collaboration of multiple vendors who will all be listed below for reference. For this vignette we accentuated the tall ceilings in the venue by using metal beams around the table. This element was eye catching (not to mention the beautiful stone clay plate-ware!)

The third vignette was a detailed flat lay. This showcased the beautifully unique designed invitation cards, the elaborate rings, and natural florals.

The fourth vignette for this ethereal wedding styled shoot was a vintage convertible getaway car. The car was rented by Cole's Classic Cars and was a perfect addition to show how you not only have a fun getaway car for your wedding exit but also use it as a prime photo opportunity. This was one of our favorite shoot canvases because it was a unique feature for a wedding that we genuinely would love to see our couples incorporate into their special days.

The fifth and final vignette was the furniture lounge area provided by Vivant Rentals. We love a good lounge set up at any wedding; it provides additional seating for guests and also serves as another great photo opportunity while also elevating the design of your wedding.

We hope you feel inspired for your upcoming wedding or event! We love bringing our visions to life and working with amazing vendors in the industry.
